NACTA Jobs 2023. The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) Pakistan is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Analysts and on other technical positions to support our mission of countering terrorism and violent extremism in the country.
The Analysts will be responsible for analyzing and assessing terrorism-related information and intelligence, providing insight and recommendations to decision-makers, and collaborating with partner agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research, analysis, and assessment of terrorism-related information and intelligence to identify emerging threats and trends.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to share information, coordinate activities, and develop joint initiatives.
- Prepare written reports, briefings, and presentations for senior officials and decision-makers.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of counter-terrorism policies and programs.
- Stay up-to-date with current events, emerging threats, and new technologies related to counter-terrorism.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Political Science, International Relations, Security Studies, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify patterns and trends from complex data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
- Knowledge of Pakistani political and security environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in counter-terrorism or intelligence analysis.
- Familiarity with software and tools for data analysis and visualization.
- Understanding of terrorism-related ideologies, tactics, and methods.
