SCPA Jobs 2023 | The Child Protection Authority is a government agency dedicated to safeguarding the welfare of children and promoting their rights. We are currently seeking qualified and experienced individuals to join our team as Child Protection Officers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify cases of child abuse or neglect
- Develop and implement plans to protect and support children in need
- Liaise with other agencies and professionals to ensure effective collaboration and communication
- Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers to promote child safety and wellbeing
- Conduct investigations and make recommendations regarding child protection matters
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in child protection or a related field
- Knowledge of child protection policies, procedures, and legislation
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Salary:
