Overseas Jobs 2023 | Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as Director General. As a key leader in the Ministry, the Director General will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of policies and programs related to overseas Pakistanis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and programs to address the needs and concerns of overseas Pakistanis
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Ministry
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including international organizations, foreign governments, and Pakistani communities abroad
- Oversee the management of the Ministry’s resources, including financial, human, and material resources
- Represent the Ministry in national and international forums
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of policies and programs
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. international relations, public policy, business administration)
- At least 15 years of relevant experience, including experience in a leadership role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and initiatives
- Knowledge of issues related to overseas Pakistanis and the Pakistani diaspora is preferred
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Urdu is preferred
