BISP Jobs 2023 | The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is a social safety net program aimed at alleviating poverty in Pakistan. BISP is looking for highly motivated and talented individuals to fill the role of Financial Specialist.
As a Financial Specialist at BISP, you will be responsible for providing financial advice and support to the organization’s management team, helping to ensure that BISP’s financial operations are efficient, effective, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely preparation of financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management
- Monitor and manage cash flow and liquidity
- Manage and oversee the accounting and financial reporting functions
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits
- Provide guidance and training to team members on financial processes and procedures
- Participate in the development of financial strategies and plans
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or related field
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting, accounting, and budgeting principles
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of relevant accounting software
