CAA Jobs 2023 | Civil Aviation Authority is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
The candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various aircraft types, ensuring the safety and airworthiness of the aircraft in accordance with the Civil Aviation Rules and Regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various aircraft types
- Ensuring the safety and airworthiness of the aircraft in accordance with the Civil Aviation Rules and Regulations
- Preparing and maintaining maintenance records and aircraft logbooks
- Performing inspections and testing of aircraft systems and components
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical problems
- Communicating with other members of the engineering team and the flight crew
- Providing technical guidance and advice to other staff
- Adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul
- Must possess an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License in the category of Airframe and Powerplant issued by PCAA
- Proficiency in technical manuals and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of Civil Aviation Rules and Regulations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
