Cabinet Jobs 2023 | The Cabinet Division is seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Software Development to lead our software development team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and directing the development of software products and solutions that meet the Cabinet Division’s needs. This position requires a deep understanding of software development processes, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of software developers, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement software development processes that ensure quality, efficiency, and timeliness of software products.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify software needs and develop software solutions that meet their requirements.
- Manage software development projects from start to finish, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure that software products are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards before release.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend new software tools and platforms to improve the software development process.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external software vendors and service providers.
- Develop and manage software development budgets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Deep understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with software development project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
