C&WD Jobs 2023 | Communication & Works Department is seeking experienced and efficient individuals to fill the role of clerical staff.
The successful candidates will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the department’s operations.
This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department or person
- Maintaining electronic and paper records and filing systems
- Typing and formatting documents, including letters, reports, and memos
- Performing data entry and other computer-based tasks
- Coordinating with other departments and external parties as needed
- Assisting with general office duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
