Energy Department Jobs 2023 | The Energy Department is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as an Assistant Engineer.
As an Assistant Engineer at the Energy Department, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission of ensuring reliable, sustainable, and affordable energy for all citizens in Pakistan.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and implementation of energy projects, including power plants, transmission lines, and distribution networks
- Conduct technical analysis to support decision-making and project planning
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations
- Support project monitoring and evaluation activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the energy sector, preferably in power generation, transmission, or distribution
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and apply engineering principles to solve problems
- Familiarity with relevant energy policies, regulations, and standards in Pakistan
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
