FBR Jobs 2023 | Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is currently seeking a qualified Procurement Specialist to join the Procurement Division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies and plans
• Managing procurement processes including planning, solicitation, evaluation, and contract management
• Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and vendors
• Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Reviewing and approving purchase requisitions and orders
• Providing technical guidance and advice to other staff
• Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Preparing procurement reports and presentations for senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the public sector
• Strong knowledge of procurement policies and procedures
• Proficiency in procurement software and systems
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
