HESCO Jobs 2023 | The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Chief Internal Auditor.
As the Chief Internal Auditor at HESCO, you will play a critical role in providing independent and objective assurance to the Board of Directors and the Management regarding the adequacy and effectiveness of HESCO’s risk management, control, and governance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a risk-based internal audit plan to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies
- Conduct internal audits of HESCO’s financial and operational processes to identify areas of weakness, fraud, or inefficiency
- Prepare reports and recommendations for corrective action to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HESCO’s operations
- Monitor the implementation of corrective action plans and provide guidance and support as needed
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with HESCO’s Board of Directors, Management, and other stakeholders
- Stay current on changes to laws, regulations, and best practices related to internal auditing and make recommendations for process improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in internal auditing, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
- Strong knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational processes, as well as auditing standards and procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Experience working with government agencies or public sector entities is preferred
