Human Rights Jobs 2023. The Ministry of Human Rights is seeking highly motivated and dedicated Human Rights Officers to join our team in Islamabad. The successful candidates will be responsible for promoting and protecting human rights in Pakistan, and will work closely with other government agencies, civil society organizations, and international partners to ensure that human rights are respected and upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on human rights issues in Pakistan, including discrimination, violence against women and girls, child rights, and minority rights.
- Develop and implement programs and initiatives to promote human rights and raise public awareness.
- Monitor and report on human rights violations and abuses, and work with relevant authorities to address them.
- Provide technical assistance and support to government agencies, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to strengthen their capacity to promote and protect human rights.
- Represent the Ministry of Human Rights in meetings, conferences, and other events related to human rights.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports on human rights activities and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Human Rights, Law, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in human rights, with a focus on promoting and protecting the rights of marginalized groups.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and develop evidence-based recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in program development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.
- Knowledge of international human rights standards and mechanisms.
