POF Jobs 2023 | Pakistan Ordnance Factories POF is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the positions of Carpenter and USM. The Carpenter will be responsible for designing and constructing wooden structures, while the USM will be responsible for performing various manual tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Design and construct wooden structures such as furniture, doors, windows, and cabinets
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Select and prepare materials for construction
• Operate hand and power tools
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Perform various manual tasks such as loading and unloading materials, cleaning, and moving equipment
• Assist other workers with tasks as needed
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Carpenter:

• Primary school diploma or equivalent
• Trade certificate in carpentry
• At least 3-5 years of experience in carpentry
• Knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail

USM:

• Primary school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of experience in manual labor
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions
