PRCS Jobs 2023 | Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to serve as District Secretary.
The District Secretary will be responsible for the management and oversight of the day-to-day operations of PRCS in the district, as well as the implementation of programs and activities in line with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the district team in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of programs and activities.
- Ensure that PRCS programs are implemented in compliance with organizational policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and community leaders.
- Build the capacity of PRCS staff and volunteers through training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the PRCS headquarters on program progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ensure that financial management practices are in compliance with PRCS policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, or related field. A master’s degree would be an added advantage.
- At least five years of relevant experience in managing and implementing humanitarian and development programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience working with government agencies and civil society organizations.
- Knowledge of Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is an asset.
