QESCO Jobs 2023 | QESCO (Quetta Electric Supply Company) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director General for Market Implementation Regulatory Affairs to lead and manage the regulatory affairs division. The position is based in Quetta, Pakistan.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of market regulations and policies for QESCO.
- Manage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on regulatory issues to the executive management team.
- Develop and maintain a regulatory compliance program for QESCO.
- Monitor and evaluate regulatory compliance activities and recommend improvements.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends.
- Prepare reports and presentations on regulatory issues for management and external stakeholders.
- Represent QESCO in regulatory affairs matters with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field from an HEC recognized university.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience in the power sector or regulatory affairs.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and policies related to the power sector in Pakistan.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
- Age limit: 45-55 years.
