Railways Jobs 2023 | The Ministry of Railways is looking to fill the position of Accounts Officer to maintain the financial records of the department and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the accounts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Sage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Age limit: 25 to 35 years.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Preparing financial statements and reports.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Conducting financial analysis and forecasting.
• Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Performing other accounting and financial management tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
