SSGCL Jobs 2023 | Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to fill the position of Deputy Managing Director Operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s operations and ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and cost-effective gas supply to customers across Pakistan.

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited is a leading gas utility company in Pakistan that supplies natural gas to more than 2 million customers in the southern part of the country. The company is committed to providing safe, reliable, and cost-effective gas supply to its customers while promoting sustainable development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the company, including gas transmission, distribution, and marketing.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators and take necessary actions to meet operational targets.
• Manage and supervise a team of professionals and ensure high-quality performance.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget.
• Attend industry conferences and meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Strong understanding of gas transmission, distribution, and marketing operations.
• Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English and Urdu is required.
