WAPDA Jobs 2023 | Pakistan WAPDA Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Manager Internal Auditor.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement internal audit plans and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential vulnerability
• Perform financial and operational audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls
• Prepare audit reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management
• Monitor and follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective implementation
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors
• Develop and maintain the internal audit function’s policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in internal auditing, accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles and standards
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in computer applications, including accounting software and Microsoft Office

• Attention to detail: The ability to identify discrepancies and inaccuracies in financial and operational data is essential in this role. The Manager Internal Auditor must have a meticulous eye for detail and be able to ensure that all aspects of the organization’s operations are functioning correctly.
• Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills are necessary for assessing and evaluating complex financial and operational data. The Manager Internal Auditor must have the ability to identify trends and patterns in data, as well as recognize potential areas of risk.
• Communication skills: Excellent communication skills are necessary for presenting audit findings, providing recommendations, and building relationships with stakeholders. The Manager Internal Auditor must be able to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to senior management, as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
• Leadership skills: The Manager Internal Auditor will be responsible for leading a team of auditors, providing direction, and ensuring that they perform their duties to the highest standards. Strong leadership skills are necessary for motivating and guiding the team, as well as providing support and feedback to team members.
