WAPDA Jobs 2023 | Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has announced a vacancy for the position of Recovery Officer. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team and help us recover outstanding debts owed to WAPDA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for the recovery of outstanding debts owed to WAPDA
• Identify and investigate delinquent accounts to determine the cause of the delinquency
• Contact debtors via phone, email, and mail to negotiate payment plans and collect outstanding debts
• Monitor and track the progress of debt recovery efforts
• Prepare and submit reports on the status of debt recovery efforts
• Collaborate with other departments and teams to improve debt recovery processes and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of debt recovery efforts

Requirements:

• Minimum education requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in debt recovery, preferably in the power sector
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of debt recovery laws and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

Selection Criteria:

• The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview
• The interview panel will evaluate the negotiation skills, communication skills, and suitability of candidates for the position
