WAPDA Jobs 2023 is seeking experienced and qualified Security Officers to join its team in providing safety and security to its employees, assets, and infrastructure across various locations in Pakistan. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure working environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors on WAPDA’s premises.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols to detect and deter criminal activity, unauthorized access, and safety hazards on WAPDA’s premises.

• Respond to emergency situations and take appropriate action to minimize loss or damage.

• Monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems, to detect any breaches and ensure they are reported and addressed promptly.

• Provide security advice and guidance to employees and contractors on WAPDA’s premises.

• Conduct investigations into incidents, accidents, and security breaches and prepare detailed reports.

• Maintain accurate records of security incidents, patrols, and investigations.

• Liaise with local law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in a large organization.

• Knowledge of security principles, practices, and procedures.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance to other security staff.

• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to security.

• Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in Urdu and English.
