The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan is seeking Researchers to join its team. The ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and research experience, with a passion for advancing knowledge and contributing to the development of the country.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in a specific field, either individually or as part of a team.
- Develop research proposals and secure funding for research projects.
- Analyze and interpret research data, and prepare reports and presentations for publication.
- Build and maintain relationships with other researchers and institutions, both in Pakistan and internationally.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers and students.
- Contribute to the development of policies and strategies related to research and higher education in Pakistan.
Requirements:
- Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant field (science, engineering, social sciences, humanities, etc.).
- At least 3 years of research experience, with a proven track record of publishing research articles in reputable journals.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to design and conduct complex research studies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding and manage research projects.
- Familiarity with research ethics and regulatory frameworks.
